La Bella Gondolas is currently hiring enthusiastic Part-time Dock Assistants and Kiosk Associates to begin before August 15th. Applicants must have flexible schedules and preferably have open availability. It is the intention of the below job descriptions to highlight the primary job duties. While it would be nearly impossible to list each and every duty, our goal is to create and environment  where each and every employee has the attitude "We will do whatever it takes to get the job done".

 

Dock Assistants will be responsible for a wide range of activity that will take place on the company dock. Safety will be the primary concern of the dock hand with assisting patrons along with a number of side duties during downtime that mainly include cleaning and pedal boat maintenance.

 

Kiosk Associates will also be responsible for a wide range of activities that will include performing cash and credit card transactions, stocking shelves, and promoting gondola services. Accuracy, honesty, and customer relations are key components to this position.

Spa Hairstylist: Requires current Alabama Cosmetology or Stylist License. Desire two (2) years experience, one (1) year prior guest service experience in hotel/resort, excellent verbal communication skills. Perform all hair care services as described in brochure and according to Alabama laws and guidelines for cosmetologists, have a working knowledge of all hair care products used and sold by the spa, and be knowledgeable of all spa services.

 

Nail Technician: Requires current Alabama license as a Nail Technician, excellent verbal and written communication skills, prior guest service experience, desire two (2) years experience performing nail services. Position will provide all types of nail services to include manicures, pedicures, acrylic nail applications and fills, polish changes, and paraffin treatments, maintain work area to Westin standards and Alabama state law, and assist with retail sales of spa products.
